The Greenfield Winter Farmers’ Market kicks off on Saturday, November 19, 2022

The Winter Market will run each third Saturday, November 2022 through February 2023

With great anticipation and pleasure, the Greenfield Farmers' Market announces the return of the Winter Market for the 2022-2023 season at the Second Congregational Church, 16 Court Square, Greenfield.

The opening date is Saturday, November 19, 2022, with three more markets to follow on December 17, 2022, January 21, 2023, and February 18, 2023. The Winter Market operates from 10 AM to 1 PM, snow or shine.

Confirmed vendors include many local favorites such as Sunrise Farms, Red Fire Farm, Hearthstone Artisan Bakery, Beaumont's Berries, Coyote Hill Farm, Sweet Pea Cottage Industries, Barberic Farm, and Livingstone Mycology. This continued collaboration between local growers and crafters ensures that Franklin County residents will have access to locally-grown produce, meat, and other custom products well into the winter months.

Barberic Farm

Barberic Farm - Eric & Barbara Goodchild, in Shelburne, MA, will have the following products from our farm for the first Greenfield Winter Farmers Market: frozen lamb, frozen ready-to-bake meat or fruit pies, pickles, relishes, jams, jellies, marmalades, popcorn for popping, honey, honey comb, sheepskins, handspun wool yarn, lambs wool handwear and socks, and wool roving from our Romney sheep.

Beaumont's Berries

Beaumont's Berries offers no or low sugar jam, and honey based jam using only locally grown fruit that is grown at her home farm in Conway or by other local farmers.

Coyote Hill Farm

Coyote Hill Farm is a small organic farm growing veggies, fruits, and flowers. For the market we will have mesclun, arugula, kale, and winter storage vegetables.

Greenfield Public Library

On very special Saturdays, you can find the Greenfield Library Pop-up: Information, library materials, Button Making,Author Visits, book signings (possible book sales), possible Friends of Greenfield Public Library Fundraising

Hearthstone Artisan Bakery

The Hearthstone Artisan Bakery specializes in premium quality sourdough breads. We pledge to offer 100% organic options and to source ingredients from small local farms when possible.

Hettie Belle Farm

We raise 100% grass-fed beef and lamb as well as pastured pork, chicken, duck and Thanksgiving turkeys fed only certified organic grain. We raise all of our own animals, here on our farm.

Livingstone Mycology

Livingstone Mycology specializes in upcycling pre consumer food waste such as coffee grounds and spent brewer's grain to grow high quality gourmet mushrooms.

Red Fire Farm

Red Fire Farm will have a full array of November produce for sale including brussels sprouts, greens, carrots, beets, potatoes, winter squash, sweet potatoes, parsnips, garlic and other Thanksgiving and fall essentials. Three types of radicchio will help make your Thanksgiving salads the best they can be! Our produce is all certified organic and grown on our fields in Montague, Granby and Sunderland. Simple Shoemaking

I want to help other people become shoemakers “for fun or profit” by offering books, videos and toddler shoemaking kits. I am intent on helping people develop local shoe and sandal-making businesses, using truly “green” practices.

Eveline MacDougall of Sweet Pea Cottage Industries offers handcrafted art cards, stationery, and envelopes, including Solstice and holiday themes, as well as textile art, each piece being one-of-a-kind. MacDougall also operates ''Darn-it-all,'' repairing woolens and other apparel, giving them new life and reducing our waste stream. And MacDougall's book, ''Fiery Hope,'' makes a terrific gift!
