Shir Glassworks brings elegant and playful artwork into the everyday areas of your life and home! Ori and Madeline combine their two styles to create a wide range of whimsical and intricate glassware. Madeline is primarily a flameworker, sculpting molten glass at a torch. Her work ranges from themed sculptural jewelry and figurines to espresso/tea cups, pipes, marbles and conceptual, interactive installations. She has been making, teaching and demonstrating glass processes for the past 10 years. Ori’s work is primarily functional blown glass, ranging from cups and bowls to pitchers, soap dispensers, candelabras, lighting and sculpture. He began working with glass in factories, apprenticing with local furnace glass masters for the past 4 years. Shir Glassworks is excited to bring their creations to their hometown market in Greenfield this year!
