Barberic Farm, owned and operated by Barbara and Eric Goodchild, is located in Shelburne, MA. They offer an eclectic mix of farm products using the skills learned from their parents and grandparents, good food made from family recipes, and music performed and taught to nourish the spirit. From their flock of Romney sheep and big vegetable garden come the ingredients for their frozen mild lamb, meat pies and pickled vegetables. Their vegetables, hops and popcorn are pesticide free. Local fruits turn into delicious jams, jellies, marmalades, sauces and pies. “The Piper’s Twist” is the name for beautiful handspun yarns spun by Eric. Naturally colored raw fleeces, roving and sheepskins from their registered Romney sheep are available almost year-round. The sheepskins are tanned with a ‘washable tan’ for your convenience. To round out their offerings you may also find honey, leather work, or hand-forged fire pokers. Barberic Farm = Old skills, Good food, and Music.
